How to charge
- Park in one of the two marked EV bays at the side of the hall.
- To pay with a charge card: tap a widely recognised charge card on the charger, such as Allstar, Electroverse, Paua, OVO Charge or Zapay.
- Or use the app: download the ScottishPower Re-Charge app, create an account and add a payment card, then follow the instructions to start charging.
- Please move your car when it's charged, so others can use the bay.
If a charger isn't working
The chargers are looked after by the New Luce Memorial Hall committee. Please let us know and we'll pass it on: call 07442 576 220 or email sharon@newlucect.org.
For the Trust to confirm: Who should drivers contact about a faulty charger: the hall committee, the app's support line (and its number), or the Trust? Is there a phone number printed on the units?
About the chargers
EV charging points were one of the short-term priorities residents chose for the Community Action Plan. The chargers were installed beside the hall, as part of the new parking at the Memorial Hall, and funded by grants from New Luce Community Trust and the Regionwide Fund (Dumfries and Galloway Council). The hall committee is responsible for them and receives any income they make.
