Taxi Card Scheme
A pre-paid taxi card for each household, topped up once a year, for journeys to and from New Luce.

Who can apply
You can apply if you're:
- households in the New Luce Community Council area
- you need to apply every year: if you don't, your card isn't renewed
Not covered
- journeys that don't start or end in New Luce
- times when the scheduled bus runs (the 2021 form gave Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 10.20am New Luce to Stranraer and 12.40pm back)
- tips for the driver
- anyone else using your household's card: cards can't be transferred
How to apply
- Forms are posted to every household each spring.
- Fill it in and return it by the closing date to keep your card working.
- New to the scheme? Contact the Trust and you'll be sent a card.

- 2026/27: renewals closed Friday 22 May 2026, extended to Friday 29 May 2026.

Get involved
Membership is free for everyone aged 18 or over who lives in the New Luce Community Council area. Members vote at the AGM and can stand as a director.
