Winter Fuel Allowance
A payment each December to help with heating, for every household living in the area all year.

Who can apply
You can apply if you're:
- householders living in the New Luce Community Council area
- living in the property full time, all year
- one payment per household. If the home is let, the tenant receives it. Second homes and holiday homes aren't eligible
- the Directors may decline an award at their discretion
How to apply
- A form is sent to every household in the autumn, usually with the newsletter.
- Fill it in with your bank details, sign it and return it by the closing date.
- Payments are made in December. You can use it for gas, oil, electricity, biomass or logs.
Dates
- 2024/25: forms due by 30 November 2024, paid in December 2024.

Get involved
Membership is free for everyone aged 18 or over who lives in the New Luce Community Council area. Members vote at the AGM and can stand as a director.
