Curling Pond development: £57,500 awarded

We are delighted to have been awarded a grant of £57,500 by The Heritage Lottery Fund to redevelop the former curling pond site into a wildlife and nature area.
There will be a wildlife pond created on the former curling pond, with a walkway around the area, including seating areas, a wildlife viewing hide, interactive interpretation boards on the history and nature of the area and a weather station. There will also be a parking area at the site.
Work will commence shortly.
