Checking every home's broadband in 2017/18, and since 2024 grants towards satellite systems for homes that still can't get a good service.

Better communications was one of the first Community Action Plan's priorities. In 2017/18 the Trust investigated broadband speeds for every household in the community, and worked with Digital Scotland and broadband providers. At that time superfast broadband was being offered in the village, and most outlying homes could get a reasonably good service.
Some homes outside the village still can't get a good signal. In September 2024 the Trust opened a grant scheme towards the cost of installing a satellite system for eligible households.

Membership is free for everyone aged 18 or over who lives in the New Luce Community Council area. Members vote at the AGM and can stand as a director.
